Please note competition entries for each month (see date judged below) are to be handed into the competition secretary, before the beginning of the meeting, on competition night of each month (see entry date below).    -   Remember: Submit your Entry Form.     -   Note:  ‘Set Subjects’ are listed at the botom of the page.

21  February Digital Night – Join Tim and Val at the Lab – presentation on RAW.
Have you ever wondered what it’s like to shoot and work with RAW images instead of JPEG ones? Come along to the University lab and learn about shooting and editing images in the RAW format. Bring a couple of RAW images with you, or have a go with RAW images that will be supplied
3 March Miranda – Photograph the birds – High Tide 3.30pm – Meet @ 11am at the Miranda Visitor Center – Bring you own lunch
28 February Quiz night: come prepared to test your knowledge, not only of photography, but whatever questions Val Fabling can throw at you; this should be a great night.
3 March Field trip:  Miranda:  high tide 3.30pm meet around 11am at Visitors Centre and have lunch there. BYO.   Contact Val Fabling for car pooling
13  March Competition: Nature/Natural History, Judge: John Greenwood.
20 March Digital Night – Join Tim and Val at the Lab for ‘More Raw’
27 March Annual General Meeting How about standing up for a role on the committee and getting in your committee nominations to the secretary early.
3 April Committee Meeting
10 April Set Subject:  ‘Ravages of time’, after supper, you are invited to bring 2 pictures (maximum) of latest field trips, Rodeo and Miranda, for a show and tell.   In order to give everyone who would like to show your pictures, you will be given 3 minutes to talk about your two pictures.  A bell will ring when time is up.  Entries for next month (Sounds of Life) to be handed in tonight.
17 April Digital Night – Join Tim and Val at the Hall for a presentation on Adobe ‘Lightroom’
24 April Share your shots:  again, please bring along 2 pictures, of anything you have photographed and would like to share, we would love to know the circumstances that inspired you to take the picture.  In order to many people a chance, you have 3 minutes speak about both your pictures.  A bell will ring when time is up!
1 May Committee Meeting
8 May Competition: Sound of Life, Judge Geoff Smith.Entries for next month (Abstract and Drewery Photojournalism Cup) to be handed in tonight.
Drewery Photojournalism Cup, this competition will run alongside the Set Subject, as a separate competition
